Senior DJ, Host of the African Panorama Music Show

DJ Salum is a View Africa Radio presenter with an illustrious career spanning over 35 years, and stands as a legendary figure in the African radio and club DJ scene.

A highly skilled and seasoned talent, DJ Salum's journey began in the Republic of Tanzania, where he made his mark as the co-founder of the iconic Blue Sky Discotheque, a cultural and entertainment beacon from the 1980s to the early 2000s.

Renowned for his deep passion and expertise in African music, DJ Salum has dedicated his life to celebrating and sharing the continent's rich sounds. His knowledge extends to African art, cultural music, hip hop, classic hits and especially Rhumba, where his mastery of Caribbean Rhumba is unmatched. His sets are known for their energy, authenticity and the seamless way he brings together diverse genres into an unforgettable musical experience.

George Koach Odoom

Director of Finance Management & Financial Adviser, VATV Group

George Koach Odoom serves as Director of Finance Management and Financial Adviser to the VATV Group, bringing decades of business leadership to View Africa Radio.

He is a seasoned executive with deep experience in enterprise and fintech solutions, profit and loss oversight, customer growth and retention, distribution strategy and project management. He is widely regarded as a business turnaround specialist, with a track record in start-ups, organisational restructuring and growth across several markets.

His academic and professional grounding includes an MBA in Business Management and Leadership from Leicester in the United Kingdom and a Master of Nonprofit Management from Regis University in the United States. He is also a certified professional coach in business, leadership and confidence, and the founder of Koach Consult.

George has worked and presented across Africa and internationally, from Accra and Lome to Freetown, Monrovia, Kinshasa and New York, including roles as a global trainer and facilitator with UNICEF. A published author and international speaker, he is bilingual in English and French.

At View Africa Radio he leads on financial strategy and stewardship, helping the station grow on a sound commercial footing while staying true to its mission of serving listeners across Africa and around the world.

Kopo Webb Matshego

Multimedia Technical Operator, Lighting & Live Streaming Specialist

Kopo Webb Matshego is a multimedia technical operator, lighting technician and live streaming specialist with more than 14 years of hands-on work across live events, theatre, studio productions and virtual and hybrid broadcasts. He pairs stage-lighting design, DMX programming and console operation with multi-camera streaming to deliver reliable, high-impact visuals.

Since 2017 he has planned, engineered and operated professional live streams for the SABC, including the SABC Business Conference, SABC Unplugged Live Sessions, The Hot Seat, Elections 2024 coverage and mayoral interviews for North West Province. He designs multi-camera workflows using RGBlink and Panasonic cameras, Blackmagic switching and vMix with NDI, with synchronised audio.

His earlier work includes Production Manager for the Mahika Mahikeng Cultural Festival, along with lighting roles on The Lion King at The Teatro at Montecasino and at the Barnyard Theatre.

He holds a BCom in Marketing Management from the University of South Africa and a Diploma in Performing Arts Technology from Tshwane University of Technology.

At View Africa Radio, Kopo leads the technical setup behind live and streamed productions, keeping the station's broadcasts running smoothly on air and online.
